Block: |
A block represents a subset of requirements within a program. This includes Total
Credits, General Education, Major, and/or Minor/Concentration requirements. |
Attribute: |
An attribute identifies specific characteristics of courses and students that can
be used in degree evaluation. |
In Progress: |
Courses a student has registered for but not yet completed are displayed in the degree
evaluation, assuming successful completion at the end of the semester. |
Check Mark: |
Indicates requirements for a program or block have been satisfied. |
Empty Box: |
Indicates requirements for a program or area have not been satisfied. |
Cumulative GPA: |
Cumulative GPA for all courses taken at Wilkes. |
Major Field Average (MFA): |
The GPA for all courses taken which belong to the requirements for that major. |
Requirements: |
The detailed specifics of what programs, areas, and groups encompass. Requirements
can be things such as the specific grades allowed, maximum number of courses, and
minimum GPAs. |
Total Credits |
Indicates the number of credits used for the degree evaluation. This includes courses
in progress. |
Graduation Status |
Indicates the graduations status of the student. AW – Student was awarded the degree,
SO – Student is seeking/sought to graduate. |
Courses Not Applied: |
Courses that have not been automatically applied to a block but still count towards
Overall Cumulative GPA and Overall Credits |
Insufficient: |
Indicates the courses and number of credits that do not meet minimum grade requirements.
This includes courses with a grade of less than 1.0 or withdrawn courses or repeated
courses. |
Courses Not Counted Towards the Degree/Expired Courses: |
Courses that do not count towards the degree on account of the time limitation from
when the course was taken. |
What-if-analysis |
Allows students and advisors the means to audit student’s coursework against any selected
degree program at Wilkes. |
