Hands-on Experience
ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥app’s engineering programs combine small class sizes with advanced research and unparalleled hands-on learning opportunities.
Students in our ABET-accredited program work one-on-one with expert faculty in traditional fields such as fluid mechanics, thermal sciences, and mechanical design and in cutting-edge fields such as microfluidics, robotics, and nanotechnology.
Our engineering faculty are active teachers who work closely with students in classrooms and laboratories. Labs are not taught by graduate student teaching assistants. As part of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management, you will graduate with confidence in your ability to understand and solve problems because we will help you develop a mental discipline for critical thinking.
The professors have been excellent in allowing me to take whatever classes I have wanted, and allowing me to test my limits.

Engineering Labs
Our state-of-the-art labs give you an abundance of opportunities to perform hands-on learning and research.
Senior Projects
Every graduating senior is required to complete Senior Projects I and II, a capstone course designed to incorporate all skills and knowledge students learn and practice as undergraduates. Students work as members of a team to design and develop selected projects in the field of mechanical engineering under the direction of a faculty mentor.
Industrial Advisory Council
The Industrial Advisory Council comprises several colleagues from companies in the local region, many of whom are ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥appalumni. The council’s input keeps the department programs strong, rigorous and relevant.
